IIIc vs IIIF and IIIG | 您所在的位置:网站首页 › leica iiif iiig › IIIc vs IIIF and IIIG |
The late IIIc and early IIIf are virtually same. If you found the IIIc difficult to focus, then a cleaning may help, but the beam splitter or mirrored prism or both need to be replaced to bring it back new specs. 聽 A IIIc or IIIf with a properly serviced rangefinder apparatus is joy to focus with. I have a IIIf Red Dial and rarely use the ORAKO filter. The filter just isn't needed once the RF has been cleaned or refurbished. 聽 For whatever reason, the beam splitter and the mirrored prism seem to age better in the IIIf Red Dial and IIIg. 聽 The IIIg is taller than the IIIc and IIIf. It does have that nice viewfinder, but it retains the same RF design of the earlier cameras. 聽 To answer your question, no it shouldn't be easier to focus a IIIf or IIIg, but YMMV depending on the condition of the camera. |
